Hematite production line and process solutions

I. Program Overview

This hematite production line solution provides a variety of flotation process routes for the beneficiation characteristics of hematite, including positive flotation, reverse flotation, positive-reverse flotation combined process and magnetic separation-flotation combined process. Through scientific and reasonable process design and optimization of the pharmaceutical system, the grade of iron ore concentrate can be increased to more than 65%, which can meet the demand for high quality iron ore concentrate in the iron and steel industry.

Second, hematite ore dressing process details

  1. Positive flotation process

    • Process flow:

      • Grinding to -0.074mm accounted for 80% of the

      • pH adjustment to 9-11 (sodium carbonate)

      • Add fatty acid trapping agent

      • Roughing once, concentrating many times

    • Characteristics:

      • Simple process, lower cost

      • Applicable to single hematite

      • Concentrate grade generally ≤65%

  2. Reverse flotation process

    • Anionic reverse flotation:

      • pH adjusted to above 11 (NaOH)

      • Calcium ion activation of quartz

      • Starch inhibition of iron minerals

      • Fatty acid-based trap flotation of quartz

    • Cationic counterflotation:

      • pH adjusted to 8-9 (Na₂CO₃)

      • Amine-based traps flotation quartz

      • Starch inhibits iron minerals

      • Concentrate grades up to 65-68

  3. Combined positive-reverse flotation process

    • First positive flotation to obtain the crude concentrate

    • Then reverse flotation of the crude concentrate

    • Concentrate grade can reach 67% or more

    • Larger amount of chemicals, more complicated process

  4. Combined magnetic separation-flotation process

    • Weak magnetic separation pre-enrichment

    • Reverse flotation to improve quality (pH=7, dodecylamine)

    • Concentrate grade can be up to 70

    • Recovery rate of 75% or more

  5. Strong magnetic separation-flotation process

    • Strong magnetic separation tailing after rough grinding

    • Flotation after fine grinding

    • Suitable for ores containing easily slaked veinstones.
