Aiming at the characteristics of wolframite quartz large-vein type or fine-vein type deposits with coarse embedded particle size and easy to be sorted out, wolframite beneficiation production line and process solution provides a set of joint process with "gravity separation as the core", covering four stages: roughing, gravity separation, fine selection and fine mud treatment. This wolframite production line solution can efficiently recover wolframite and comprehensively recover the associated valuable metals through the combined process of multi-stage jigging, shaking table sorting, intermediate ore regrinding and flotation/re-magnetization, which is suitable for wolframite ore with uneven embedded particle size, and it has the advantages of flexible flow, high recovery rate, low energy consumption, and so on.
Roughing stage
Pre-screening and jigging roughing: after crushing the raw ore, the movable screen jigger is used to carry out the first roughing for fine-grained ore, and the tailing is thrown quickly, and the coarse concentrates are directly put into the concentrating operation, which reduces the subsequent processing load.
Gravity separation stage
Multi-stage jigging + shaking table sorting:
The qualified ore after fine crushing is classified by vibrating screen, and enters into multi-stage jigger (such as trapezoidal jigger), outputting jigging gravity separation gross sand.
Coarse-grained jigging tailings return to regrind, fine-grained tailings enter multi-stage shaking table sorting after spiral classifier, output shaking table gross sand.
Shaking table tailings are discharged into the tailings storage, and the medium ore returns to regrinding and re-election, forming a closed loop to ensure the recovery rate.
Selection stage
Combined floating and heavy magnetic process:
Desulfurization treatment: Sulfide ore is removed by table flotation (flotation + shaking table) or mechanical flotation, and sulfide ore is recovered in a separate flotation line.
Wolframite concentrate purification: table flotation wolframite by gravity separation (shaking table) produces wolframite concentrate; if it contains scheelite or cassiterite, it is separated by the combined process of flotation-magnetism separation and electrostatic separation, and ultimately obtains wolframite concentrate (WO₃ ≥ 65%), scheelite concentrate and cassiterite concentrate.
Fine mud processing stage
Combined separation and recovery:
After the fine mud is desulfurized first, gravity separation (centrifuge), flotation, magnetic separation or electrostatic separation combined process is selected according to the nature.
Synchronous recovery of tungsten minerals and associated metals (such as tin, molybdenum, bismuth, etc.) in the fine mud, to enhance the utilization rate of resources.
High-efficiency gravity beneficiation dominant: multi-stage jigging and shaking table combination, adapting to coarse and fine grains level sorting, recovery rate increased by 10-15% compared with the traditional process.
Middle ore regrinding closed circuit: reduce over-crushing, optimize particle size distribution, and reduce tailings grade.
Comprehensive utilization of associated resources: through the combined process of floatation and heavy magnetism, tungsten, tin, sulfur and other elements are synergistically recovered.
Special treatment of fine mud: targeted combination of processes to solve the problem of difficult to select fine mud, tungsten recovery rate increased by more than 20%.
The production line designed for a large-scale wolframite project, after adopting this program:
The grade of raw ore is 0.8% WO₃, and the grade of concentrate reaches 68% WO₃, with a recovery rate of 92%;
The recovery rate of associated tin is 85%, the sulfur concentrate contains 35% sulfur, and the economic benefits are significantly improved.
