Three Disk Magnetic Separator/Three Disk Dry Strong Magnetic Separator is a highly efficient mineral sorting equipment, specially designed for the separation and purification of all kinds of weakly magnetic minerals. Through multi-stage strong magnetic field, this equipment can realize accurate separation of more than ten kinds of minerals, such as ilmenite, rare earth ore, chromite, etc. It can also be used for iron removal and purification of non-metallic minerals, which is one of the key equipments for mine selection operation.

Working Principle

1. Pre-treatment stage:

   • Raw materials are removed by vibrating screen

   • Weak magnetic drum removes strong magnetic material

2. Magnetic separation:

   • Primary disk: separation of strong magnetic minerals (such as magnetite)

   • Secondary disk: separation of medium magnetic minerals (such as ilmenite)

   • Tertiary disk: selection of weakly magnetic minerals (such as rare earth ores)

3. Product collection:

   • Magnetic product: disk scraping collection

   • Non-magnetic products: Tailings chute discharge

Operation specification

Start-up process

1. Check the oil level of cooling system

2. Start the control system to warm up

3. Gradually increase the excitation current to the working value

4. Open the feeding device

Safety Precautions

• Do not place iron tools within 1 meter around the disk.

• Discharge for 5 minutes after stopping the machine for maintenance.

• Regularly check the insulation resistance
